Indian Spirit
Like most born and bred fisherman in Lakes Entrance, Stewart Tidswell was born and raised on the boats. He started working for his father Simon, trawling at age 15 on board the Veronica S. Since taking over prawn vessel ‘Indian Spirit’ three years ago, Stewart says; “We take what we need when we need it. If the market only requires a certain amount of product then that is what we fish. As part of a younger generation of fisherman we need to make sure there is plenty to go around".
