Fish Tacos

  • Ingredients:

    • 500g School Whiting Fillets
    • 12 small flour tortillas, warmed
    • ½ Cup of flour (seasoned with salt and pepper)
    • 2 baby cos lettuce
    • 2 tomatoes, seeded, chopped
    • ½ continental cucumber chopped
    • ½ red onion, finely chopped
    • 1 tablespoon fresh coriander, chopped
    • 20g butter
    • Light sour cream or Tartare to serve
    • Lime or Lemon wedges, to serve
  • Method:

    Step 1
    Prepare salsa. Chop tomatoes, cucumber, onions and coriander combine and place into a bowl.
    Wash and prepare lettuce rinse well and leave to drain.

    Step 2
    Lightly flour fish fillets. Heat butter in Pan and lightly fry fillets until golden.

    Step 3
    Fill warmed tortillas with lettuce and salsa. Top with fish pieces. Serve with sour cream or Tartare and lemon/lime wedges.
